Gourmet Lunch and Winery Tour

Experience a fully guided tour followed by tastings of premium award winning VQA wines at one of the largest showcase wineries in the Niagara Region. Our second stop will be at one of the many cottage style smaller wineries in the area where you will have a private wine tasting before being chauffeured to one of the finest winery restaurants in the area, Terrior La Cachette, where you will enjoy exquisite French Provencal cuisine prepared with the finest local produce. After a leisurely three course lunch enjoy a private tasting at Strewn Winery a tastefully renovated fruit cannery and home to Canada’s only winery cooking school. Our final stop will be at one of the many boutique style wineries in the area.

Afternoon Winery Tour

The tour starts with a fully guided tour from vineyard to tasting room at one of the most prestigious and modern facilities in the area. You will then visit three of the regions smaller, family owned, “hidden gem” wineries, for private tastings of award winning VQA wines that are not available in liquor stores and also enjoy a specially prepared cheese tray with our compliments.

Gourmet Dinner and Winery Tour

Broaden your winemaking knowledge with a fully guided tour of one of the largest award winning wineries in Niagara Wine Country. In contrast we will proceed to visit one of the many cottage style wineries in the area for a tasting of premium award winning wines which are mostly available only at the winery. Our final stop is at Strewn Winery for a private tasting of excellent VQA wines before you experience a truly memorable culinary delight as you relax over a three course gourmet dinner accompanied with a glass of wine in the winery restaurant, Terroir La Cachette, one of the finest in the area.

Tours daily – 3.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. approx.

Toronto Day Trip

Sit back and relax whilst our professional driver/guide whisks you away care free to “the prettiest town in Canada”, Niagara on the Lake, to experience award winning wines, great food and time to explore the unique boutiques, stores, art galleries or visit some of the historical places for which the town is famous.
Our first stop will be at Pillitteri Estates Winery which the Pillitteri family has owned and operated since 1993. The Winery is the largest estate winery producer of Ice-wine in the world and has the largest barrel cellar in Ontario. You will have a guided tour of the winery, sample their award winning VQA wines and of course finish with an Ice-wine tasting.
Next a visit to one of the “hidden gem“ boutique wineries for a private tasting of premium wines many of which are only available at the winery.
Then on to lunch where you can choose from either The Irish Harp Pub or The Olde Angel Inn, very different in styles but both offering fine food and beverages.
The Irish Harp is designed to traditional Irish standards. Located on what used to be a local grocery store, built in 1913. The owner, Trevor Smyth lovingly restored the old building in 2006 to what you see today. Trevor comes from County Derry in Ireland and has brought to Niagara on the Lake old fashioned Irish “ craic “(fun and chat).
In contrast The Olde Angel Inn, circa 1816 is Upper Canada’s oldest operating Inn, and is a typical English-style pub with 22 different beers on draught, both domestic and export.
After lunch, from approximately 1.45pm guests will have one and a half hours free time to explore the beautiful town of Niagara on the Lake. Alternatively if guests would prefer we will visit a small local Craft brewery, Taps, opened in 2004 and family owned and operated. The demand for their beers has already spread as far as London and Ottawa and is now also available at selected Liquor and Beer Stores.
Willow Cakes and Pastries, described by James Chatto in the LCBO`s Food and Drink Magazine as “ a place of pilgrimage for anyone with a sweet tooth “ will be our next call and I’m sure it will prove to be another memorable highlight of your day. You will enjoy your choice of one of Cathy’s exquisite desserts and coffee.

We are pleased to announce that in partnership with the most professional and well equipped cycle tour operator in the Niagara Region, Zoom Leisure, we can now offer afternoon and daily guided cycle tours around the beautiful town of Niagara on the Lake, visiting a number of the many award winning wineries in the area.

Picnic Winery Tour

Make a day long excursion into the captivating world of Niagara on the Lake’s history and wine culture. Visit a number of wineries and enjoy a mouth-watering picnic lunch by the lake. All of our lunches are prepared fresh by local café’s. Award winning wines, romantic vineyards, lush landscapes and great food…need we say more?

Afternoon Winery Tour

A fun and exciting tour! It combines a leisurely tour through Niagara’s Wine Country while you enjoy award winning wines. Whilst learning about the art of wine making and tasting you will also experience the beauty, culture and history that make Niagara on the Lake such a fascinating place to explore.

Rentals

Rentals are available for those choosing to do a self guided tour or indeed should you wish to enjoy the many kilometers of designated trails in the area. Touring Hybrid Cycles, Mountain Bikes, Tandems ( for 2 people ), Children’s Bikes and attachments are available. Free local delivery for 2 or more full day rentals is also available.

Half day (up to 3 hours) - $20.00 + G.S.T.

Full Day (until dark) - $30.00 + G.S.T.

Advanced reservations (72 hours) are required for all tours and rentals.

Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. Tours cancelled prior to 3 days to date of tour will be fully refunded. Deposit for tours cancelled within 3 days of tour is non-refundable, but maybe transferred to an alternate date. Cancellations are only accepted by telephone. Payment is accepted by all major credit cards.
